All roads on the 27th of August 2012 led to Our saviour's Church in Onikan    and the Yetunde's Apartment, Park view estate Ikoyi in Lagos.It was a nice simple wedding. Boma wanted to use the colours white,silver and black,with the help of Gbolahan the groom ,we were able to add a touch of yellow.they both wanted a small wedding with a guest size of 300 people.It was fun all the way.

  •  Their wedding certificate lists the 26-years old groom as HRH the Duke of Edinburgh and his bride, princess of the United Kingdom of GB and Ireland.
  • She met him when she was 13 at a cousin's wedding ceremony.
  •  HRH, Duke of Edinburgh, Phillip gave up his citizenship and tittle and took up on the surname Mountbatten.
  • Eight bride's maids and two page boys took part in the ceremony.
  • Her dress was made of ivory duchess satin and decorated with about 10,000 white pearls, imported from America, silver thread and tulle embroidery.
  • Her tiara was lent to her by her mother- which her daughter-in-law, Princess Diana had on her wedding day too.
  • Her bouquet was made up of white orchids and a spring of myrthe.
  • The wedding cake was a grand affair, standing at nine-foot high, weighing 500 pounds featuring 4 tiers.
  • One layer of the cake was kept until the christening of Prince Charles.
  • Her dress was designed by Norman Hartnell.
  • They got married in front of 2,000 invited guests.
  • The Royal Wedding was broadcast on radio to 200 million listeners worldwide.
  • Their wedding night was spent in Broadlands, Hamsphire.
  • The rest of their honeymoon was spent at Birkhall on the Balmoral Estate.
