Inspiration- Execution:Creating winter in the tropics.

Wednesday, 13 April 2011

When Craig and Teju decided to come to Nigeria to tie the knot, they wanted a theme that would represent where Craig was from, Canada. So we decided to go with a winter theme
I needed inspiration, considering I live in Nigeria, its almost difficult to imagine winter, the cold weather, snow, snowflakes, icicles, trees without leaves and most of all, a place with a blanket of white snow and not to forget the cold which goes below zero degrees.
We considered a  picture like the one below as my Inspiration

In executing this job we used  blue mood lights, clear crystal beads to represent ice, white for the snow, acrylic chairs and loads of silver branches and a white carpet. below is our interpretation of winter, done at City hall Lagos Nigeria.

Vendor Policy:

The following vendor guidelines apply when posting about, or as a vendor:

JustWeddings Inspired would never do anything to jeopardize the editorial integrity of the blog. Although we may receive offers where advertisers would pay us to write positive reviews of their products, they will be turned down. We do not receive any payments, kickbacks or discounts from vendors.

You are welcome to leave reviews of any vendors featured on the blog. With great power however comes great responsibility. If you do name a vendor, please write any posts in a factual manner as sharing your experience in an even handed way lets other readers make their own informed opinions.

If you want to vent very specific angry or emotional thoughts, you may want to refrain from naming your vendor as you might not have given them the chance to respond and take action.

At any rate, it is more effective to address such issues on a different forum than this blog.
