The Gees!
The wedding that started our 2010 planning diary at Just Weddings! One of my favorite brides, it was a wedding I truly enjoyed planning and executing. I had a lot of fun with Foluso and her sweet mum planning this "Candy love" themed wedding.
The wedding that started our 2010 planning diary at Just Weddings! One of my favorite brides, it was a wedding I truly enjoyed planning and executing. I had a lot of fun with Foluso and her sweet mum planning this "Candy love" themed wedding.
Right! Where do I start? Leye and Foluso are a beautiful, urbane and definitely fun couple. They have a close circle of friends and family who were very involved in the wedding activities. A lot of attention was paid to detail despite the fact that the vibe/theme was 'cool'. As anyone who knows the bride knows, she has a SWEET tooth and loves to party!.Her amiable groom, Leye, added here and there as the wedding drew nearer especially with selecting the colours- hot pink, midnight blue and silver.
Foluso had warned that she wanted no drapes or fairy lights. It was rather a challenge to decorate a marquee that sits 2500 guests without those elements. Definitely one of those weddings I can never forget-a few hitches- since this is only real life(technical faults, guest number overflow). Regardless,it was a wedding I absolutely enjoyed executing and a lovely way to start the year. Kudos to the photographers-Jide and Mubarak, who had to literally push into the crowd of guests to get good shots.
And how can I forget the bride's sister, Bukky aka "Controller", who was a great help and definitely in charge on the home front.

Enjoy the bride's vision come to life on her special day.Vendor details at the post end.
So that was the first part of the day for our fun couple- there were tears, laughter and the joy in the air was palpable. As I said before, the bridal train was too cool!
